About Floor Barre
Floor Barre is a technique in ballet training that "takes the basic of Ballet barre from the standing position to the floor, taking the effort of standing out of the equation".
As the forerunner to Pilates, Floor barre is an ideal way to prepare and maintain the body in strengthening, lengthening and toning, whilst increasing flexibility. It allows you to really focus on working different parts of the body and in building core strength, without having to worry about standing up or balancing. Floor barre is great for dancers, performers, athletes, the injured and everyone desiring the health benefit of this gentle yet highly effective technique.
Our classes included Progressive Ballet Technique taught by a certified teacher.
